May 12th Project Description

Since we are still on lockdown for the corona virus, I have decided to use my other technique of how to learn yoga and meditate better.  I have been watching several youtube videos with different yoga instructors giving directions of how to do the best yoga positions.  This is the easiest way to complete my project on time without being able to do a face to face interview.  I have been working on a powerpoint to keep all my ideas together and organized.  I have practiced with many of the videos and they are very beneficial to what my topic is all about.  I think that if I create a powerpoint I can share it with my friends and it will truly help them if they are bored or stressed out.  I am unsure of how I am going to present my project but that is what I have to work on with my powerpoint.  The slideshow will provide others with techniques they can do with yoga and meditation and take some down time from their very busy days.  The video below is o...

May 4th Description

My 20 time project on how to learn yoga and meditate better has not moved forward that much due to being in the house because of COVID 19.  The most important part of my project is to interview a yoga instructor and interview my friends on how well they know how to do yoga.  I know that this lockdown will not be over by the time school is done so I am working on another plan on how to accomplish my project.  This has been fairly difficult because I need some good evidence and information, which I could get from the internet, but I feel that it would be better to get the information in person.  The best way I know how to complete my project is by watching youtube videos of instructors performing yoga and practicing them, but there is no way of getting other information.  Corona has pushed my project back a lot and I still have a lot of work to do but I am going to do my best to find an alternative way of completing my project on learning how to do yoga and medita...

Detailed Description of my Project

My project is not really progressing due to being in the house because of the corona virus.  The most important task that I need to accomplish is having a meeting with a yoga director, but I can't figure out how to do this until the gyms open back up.  I have been trying to focus on the presentation part of my project but the most important part of my presentation is not completed yet.  I am hoping that this quarantine will be over soon so I can finish my project, but as of right now, it is not looking good.  I may need to figure another way to finish my project without interviewing a yoga instructor.  My goal for this week is to find an instructors email and try to set up a video chat to discuss the different options I have to complete the project on time.  This may be a little bit of a struggle because an in person interview will help me the most.  I am going to try my best to complete my project the best that I can, and hope that I can do an in pers...

1. What did you accomplish this week? This week, I focused in on the project in itself and brainstormed how I can present my project if I can not interview a yoga instructor.  I think I could do some research on youtube to find some sessions with an instructor online to see what their opinion is.  I am hoping that the virus is over so I can do my interview in person, but if not I am going to use the youtube video. 2.  What are you working on right now? Where my Project Stands

What have you done so far, and what remains to be completed between now and the middle of May? So far for my 20 time project, I have done some research on how yoga and meditation can better a human's life.  It can change the way a person acts, feels, and relieve stress.  To finish my project completely, I would like to go take another yoga class to really get the feel of it again and I think taking a live video of me interviewing the yoga instructors could really improve my project.  I need to focus on bringing my project all together into one. Presentation/Elevator Pitch

1. Problem Statement - Explain what is wrong with the status quo, and  it’s a significant problem. The problem is that many people are too stressed out with work, school or sports and they never take enough time for themselves.  Their emotions and feelings are just flying everywhere and then something bad could happen.  To stay calm and collected, you can do yoga and learn to meditate and use that as a daily routine.   2. It Gets Worse - Explain how failing to solve this problem could cause  more problems. Learn Yoga and Meditate Better Proposal

Needs and Opportunities The problem I have noticed that needs to be solved is the amount of anger and stress a human being has.  Not many people know that taking a yoga class or meditating can help relieve a lot of that emotion and stress.  I look to have experience with yoga and meditation because it can help me through take stress out of my life.
